Is it animal related? For once, No.
Is it metal? Wood? Paper? Yes. No. No.
An old French wedding crown with metal, flowers, mirrors and other fabulous oo-la-la-ness attached? Not exactly, but there is a connection.
Is it jewelry? No.
Is it a metal prayer heart? No.
Is it a metal corona? No.
Is it something one would find in a church? Not in a church, no.
Is it some sort of metal display case? No.
Would it be found ON a church? No, but I like your thinking. It's all in the details!
A wedding cake topper? Nope.
Is it a metal jardiniere with metal flowers? No. Though there are a few metal flowers involved.
Does it come from a cemetery? Yes.
Is it one of those metal plaques that say "our darling" or something like that? No.
Is it one of those metal laurels with palm-like leaves with flowers you sometimes find on graves? Oui! Bravo!

Game chips, or Jetons, these are very very old, very very thin, and very very French.
The pips are etched and coloured by hand, with an assortment of trèfles, carreaux, and cœurs, but no piques.
