The forecast at the brocante has been sunny with a chance of discovery.

I've been fortunate to find a large number of transferware pots recently, including some stunningly handsome French models.

The French pots will remain in my personal collection for now. Some of the Edinburgh pots go into the shop with the next round of listings. They are delicate and adorable - perfect for display or holding a tiny treasure or two.

When in France, visit a brocante.

Look at everything on offer with a critical eye: Do you need it?

Why yes, you probably do!

You will undoubtedly buy more than you had intended, in which case it is best to engage the services of a transporter.

Wrap everything with the utmost care to avoid the heartbreak of opening a parcel full of shards and smithereens. 

Await the arrival of your box, crate, or container with anticipation.

Enjoy your treasures.

Good news - Mademoiselle's grand-maman Excelsior is en route from Paris, and will be here in time for the sale in July.

We have just finalized our location and our vintage collective has grown to include some new vendors this year, all very exciting!

Mademoiselle has gotten chummy with P. Poisson, a dashing young fellow also originally from Paris.

We've received word that Mademoiselle's gorgeous Maman will be visiting next month as well - a glorious reunion to be sure!
