If there is something particular you're looking for, let me know. I've done a number of custom orders recently and I enjoy the process. Immensely.

If you need help finding something, I'm pretty good at that too. I spend a lot of time foraging. My own memorial plaque will probably read something along the lines of:

Ferdinand et Louise

Ferdinand and Louise were childhood sweethearts. 

When, at 83, Ferdinand was killed assisting the resistance movement during the war, Louise's heart broke. 

She did not see another dawn, but her prayers were answered.

Louise was reunited with her Ferdinand in the afterlife.

Moss Street

A huge and heartfelt thanks to everyone who visited with us at our Moss Street Pop-Up Shop on Saturday. It is wonderful to see so many of the same faces year after year ... we love our extended Brocante family!

For those of you further afield, our sale ties in with the Moss Street Paint-In, a wonderful community arts event that occurs every summer on the third Saturday in July. The Paint-In stretches over a kilometer, from the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria down to the ocean. There are 180 juried artists, interactive arts exhibits, food, and entertainment. And Pop-Up Shops. 

In addition to the 35,000 two-legged Pain-In attendees, there are thousands upon thousands of four-legged companions. 

This little sweetheart was one of our favourites of the day.

And this poor soul had just had enough. He opted for a siesta in the shade while his family shopped.

Perfection {in Black + White}

I was fortunate enough to find a small bundle of these at the Brocante. 1800s enamel plaques in beautiful condition, and so tiny they are light as a feather. These are utterly exquisite and rarer than rare.
