'Tis a good day when new teeth arrive in the mail!
These are vulcanite and porcelain, predating the pale pink acrylic models of the mid-1900s.
Vulcanite was a very dark reddish-brown. A more aesthetically pleasing smile was achieved by fusing a layer of pink porcelain to the vulcanite mould.
This 'set' is actually two uppers ... a fact that is inconsequential given their latest role in the Brocante Sideshow that is the guest room.
