I bought a new paint box.
You will not be surprised, I'm sure, that my new paint box is an old paint box.
British.
The paints are not superb quality.
Nor am I a superb painter (rank amateur, if you must know).
But the box is battered just so, and the pans are ceramic.
And these three little tubes were tucked inside, a scant 2-inches each, with the Reeves' mascot on the caps.
And while I will never be a painter, I plan to enjoy my new/old paints thoroughly.
To dab them here and there.
To use them to embellish my lettering and enhance my general existence.
xoxo
love!!

Cool! Sometimes a new old thing is so much better than an old ... er ... Well, you get it! :D

I love them & love your reasons for buying them. Our lives are so more enriched sometimes just by giving ourselves a wee beauty to love. I would have bought them too. I also love the little bird stamp.

Still looking for a old paint box , to wonder of it's previous owner and all that were painted. Old brushes with different colors to place in a glass and admire. Love your paint box....:)
