Le Sanglier d'Afrique

Perhaps it's because I grew up reading Asterix comics.

I have a real soft spot for wild boar.

I have my beautiful baby marcassin in the living room.

My tiny but treasured collection of glass buttons with wild boar heads.

And now, a 1700s engraving of le sanglier d'Afrique.

Such a dashing fellow he is.

That is a wonderful piece :) I grew up with Asterix and Obelix too!!
I made a razorback boar torc, will have to show you. He's pretty cool :)
