I am working on an etsy update for next week: delicious new French letters and documents, brocante cards, Antique French pharmacie bottles, and a few other special treasures.

We Shall Now Resume Regular Programming

For the past 10 years I have taught children's art camps at a local art store during the summer break from school. 

I teach them to draw. To paint. To colour.

We cut and paste. We collage.

We make prints and drape plaster and shape modeling clay.

The same children come back year after year. As many as six summers in a row.

The powers that be have decided that the studio space could be better used as part of the store.

But what could be better than fostering children's creativity? Giving them skills and experience with new materials and ways of working? Inspiring them to use their eyes and their hands to create what is in their hearts?

Today was my last day.
